Partnership with New York State Department of Labor
Through our partnership with the New York State Department of Labor, we can assist an individual in his or her primary language either over the phone or in our office. Interpreters are provided for free including American Sign Language.

Broome Tioga Workforce NY Partnership with Literacy Volunteers of Broome -Tioga County
Literacy Volunteers of Broome-Tioga Counties partner with Broome Tioga Workforce NY to provide language assistance to BTWF clients.
ESL Bootcamp
The ESL Bootcamp is an ESL class designed to get people with some English proficiency over the hump and into a job. The classes will be held at the Broome County Library 185 Court Street Binghamton New York. If you believe that your English is holding you back from obtaining a meaningful career this may be the program for you.
One-to-One Tutoring Program
The One-to-One Tutoring program is designed for people who have limited to no English proficiency. This is an intensive program that will help you obtain the English skills needed to obtain a job in the area. This program will be a weekly to bi-weekly one on one session where you will focus on the English words related to the skills you currently have. Classes will be held at the Broome County Library 185 Court Street Binghamton New York.
Digital Literacy/Basic Computer Instruction Program
This program is designed for both people who are fluent in English and those who are not. This class will focus on obtaining the computer skills needed to seek and maintain employment. The topics covered will be computer Basics, Internet Basics, Email and Account Managment Basics, Microsoft Office Basics, Google Workspace Basics, and Online Job Search skills. This class will be held once a week at the Broome County Library 185 Court Street Binghamton New York.
